After weeks away, we're finally back in Sicily.
But before we even have time to unpack, Sicily has other plans.
Linda arrives in Termini Imerese and immediately finds herself in the middle of one of the island's most spectacular traditions: Carnevale Termitano, often considered the oldest Carnival in Sicily.
The streets explode with music, giant floats, costumes, laughter, and thousands of people celebrating a tradition that has lived on for generations.
But as always, real life has a way of interrupting the party...
😅 Linda takes a nasty fall shortly after arriving, ends up bruised and battered, and somehow manages to destroy her phone in the process.
✈️ Meanwhile, Andreas returns from a work trip to Germany and jumps straight back into renovation mode.
And that's when things get serious.
After experiencing several small electrical fires in our house over the past year, Andreas explains one of the biggest challenges of renovating old Sicilian homes: how do you install modern electrical systems without destroying historic walls, ceilings, and character?
